Lahndan

A very short post about our night at home.

We grabbed a bus to the airport and got a flight to Copenhagen. We thought that the food on the flight was included but were sadly mistaken. This led us to spending  12 quid on 2 paninis in Copenhagen (not cool) We felt this was enough time in somewhere so expensive!!

After grabbing our connecting flight to Heathrow we arrived back in miserable Blighty. This was our first encounter of being rippedoff, in our own country. We had to pay 4 quid each to get the bus to the travel lodge which was around the corner. Heathrow make the London cabbiescharge a minimum of 30 quid so you give money to Heathrow....

The travellodge was rammed with lager louts and drunk women who were there to watch the football. Many looking porky (you can deffo tell we're one of the fattest nations in the world after being in Eastern Europe for a month!!) Our second rip off was the rather disgusting pretty much microwave meal we had which cost us like 30 quid and took over an hour to arrive. We were pretty glad we hadn't opted for breakfast!!

The next day we headed to Heathrow nice and early to get some shopping in and to grab some fancy breakfast. After a smooth check in we decided to treat ourselves to Gordon Ramsay's plane food, which was actually chaper than the Travelodge!!It was delish.

We realised that we were on the flight with a big school party and we found out that it was the Minster school (down the road from Poppleton!!) Bit weird.

Next stop the Motherland...
